Thomson Nguyen's places to eat in San Francisco
-
Luna Park

Good French/Italian fare on the cheap. The only correct answer for dessert here is the homemade s'mores.
-
Tartine

Seriously some of the best morning buns I've ever had. Make sure to go early so you don't miss out on their ridiculously good bread. (Photo by Joelmold)

Chow (on Church)

Good ol' American comfort food in a hip setting. Get the lamb burger. (Photo by ukamera)

Ike's Place

Easily the best sandwich place in SF. Note the new address–they were kicked out of their old place and are now serving sandwiches out of Lime for the time being. Two sandwiches I recommend: the Fat Bastard (ham, bacon, dirty sauce), and the Backstabber (Halal chicken, marinated artichoke hearts).

Foreign Cinema

Staggeringly beautiful decor. Take your dates here, but also take extra money–eating at Foreign Cinema ain't cheap, ya know.
